All units within this qualification undergo internal assessment by the centre and external verification by OTHM. These qualifications follow a criterion-referenced approach, focusing on the achievement of all specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence demonstrating they have met all the learning outcomes. They must also meet the standards outlined by the assessment criteria. The Assessor makes the judgment on whether learners have successfully fulfilled these criteria. Additionally, the Assessor should create an audit trail detailing how they arrived at their judgment of the learners’ overall achievement. This process ensures transparency and accountability in the assessment, providing clear evidence of how decisions were made. |
