Assessment |
|||||||
Qualifications are criterion-referenced, focusing on the achievement of all specified learning outcomes.
To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence demonstrating they have met all the required learning outcomes. They must also meet the standards outlined by the assessment criteria. The Assessor makes the judgment on whether learners have successfully fulfilled these criteria. Furthermore, the Assessor should create an audit trail clearly showing how they arrived at their judgment of the learners’ overall achievement. This process ensures transparency and accountability throughout the assessment, providing a clear record of how decisions were made. |
